It’s time for a few more updates to my “ugly Betty” Web 2.0 presentation; as usual, you can view (and collaboratively edit) the Google Docs presentation document, by clicking here; or you can download the 18-megabyte PDF version by clicking here.

Here’s a summary of what I’ve added and changed:
- On page 6, I changed the slide-title from “My definition” (of what Web 2.0 is all about) to “Ed’s definition,” because I realize that this is going to be a collaborative document, representing the opinions and inputs of several people. Just for the heck of it, I also added a thumbnail mugshot of myself.
- On page 10, I added a picture of Craig Newmark — the creator of Craig’s List. On the Keynote version of the material (which you can download as a PDF file), I hyperlinked the JPG image so that it would point to the Wikipedia article about Craig; but I can’t do that with the Google Docs version of the material. C’est la vie …
- On page 13, I added a parenthetical note to indicate that a survey of how many Americans are on the Internet, versus “Web 2.0-wired”, was taken in the spring of 2006, and that it didn’t include teenagers — and thus may be somewhat skewed, and/or out of date by now.
- On (new) page 14: I’ve added a new page, with a chart showing the usage by Americans of various technologies, based on the survey mentioned above.
- On (new) page 15, I incorporated a chart showing the growth of blogs during the period of March 2003 through March 2007.
- On (new) page 80, I included a link to Luis Suarez’s blog posting about the use of Twitter and microblogging in emergencies.
- On (new) page 100, I included a JPG image of the “XO” computer that’s part of the “One Laptop Per Child” project.
That’s all for now … but I’m sure there will be more in the days to come …
