Someone sent me an email this morning, indicating that he had actually downloaded and opened my Web 2.0 PDF mind-map (as opposed to the rest of you lazy slobs, who have presumably been just clicking on the links to new articles, or perhaps ignoring it altogether). Apparently, some of the branches and sub-branches on the periphery of the mind-map were getting cut off during the export from the mind-mapping program that I use (ConceptDraw’s MindMap Pro) to the PDF file.
I tightened up the visual display on several of the pages, and also made some minor changes to the parameter settings for the export. It seems to work reasonably well now, and you should be able to see all of the material on the various pages.
Aside from that, the only change I made was to delete the page containing “Quotations.” I had only one entry on that page, and it didn’t seem worth keeping.
You can download the PDF file (6.92 megabytes) by surfing over to the www.yourdon.com/downloads area of my website, or by clicking here.
