Calendar of Events, Web 2.0 stuff

With the help of my friends at dataLAB, I’ve added a “calendar of events” section to the right side-bar of this blog; if you need more information about any of the conferences or events I’ll be attending, please drop me an email note.

I’m also adding more content to my “mind-map” of things related to Web 2.0; you can download the latest 2.1-megabyte PDF of the mind-map here. For the moment, all of this is still on my “playground” website that I built with Apple’s iWeb tool and hosted on Apple’s .Mac facility — but now that I’ve got a better sense of how I want to organize and present all of this information, I’m hoping to move it back here and consolidate it with the rest of my “regular” blog entries.

Meanwhile, I found an interesting article about Google Trends in today’s issue of the newspaper the White House loves to hate (The New York Times, for those of you who haven’t been following the news); it’s titled “The Internet Knows You’ll Do Next,” and it’s definitely worth reading.
